There can be very few who are unaware of the disasters that are happening to the wildlife of this planet. Every day more and more Animals, Birds and Marine species are declared endangered. None more so that the the Orangutan (Pongo Pygmaeus). The Orangutan Foundation (www.orangutan.co.uk) has been working for the last 20 years to help preserve the habitat and the animals themselves. My pictures of them and other birds and animals at risk from us human beings is a small tribute to their work and the amount of enjoyment I get from seeing them both in the wild and in rehabilitation.
